Acoustic radiation performance investigation of a double-walled cylindrical shell equipped with annular plates and porous foam media

Acoustic radiation through a system of double-walled shells, lined with porous foams, and stiffened by annular plates simultaneously is studied. Based on modeling, the foams as absorbent fluid property, acoustic characteristics structure are presented for various sandwich construction means vibro-acoustic finite element method automatic matching layer technology. It noted that equipping enhances insulation in entire frequency domain. The overall sound power level modified density shell. Moreover, increase structural stiffness shown to effectively reduce via rising thickness inner shell number plates. foam cores decrease peak value using polyurethane increasing filling ratio.
